This is a picture of one of the Pizza Pockets that I made. I made four of them.The ingredients were store-bought pizza dough, pizza sauce, pepperoni, cheese, milk, and parmesan cheese. I used a homemade calzone dough instead of store-bought dough because I don’t like to use processed food in my recipes. When I made these pizza turnovers, I thought the dough was very thick, and I also thought that they were very big. If I try this again I will not use so much dough so they aren’t too big and the dough isn’t too thick. I dedicate this post to the Better Homes and Gardens New Junior Cookbook because that’s where I found the recipe. If you are reading this post, I hope you find the recipe and try it out.
